It has a low cost and is easy to install. It is erected on utility poles and is suitable for scenarios with dispersed loads.
Q:What are the manifestations of insulation aging of the windings in dry-type transformers?
A:The insulation layer of the windings has changed color, cracked and fallen off; the insulation resistance and polarization index have significantly decreased; there is local overheating and peculiar smell during operation; abnormal discharge sounds occur.
Q:Why does the transformer oil turn black? And how should it be dealt with?
A:Reason: The oil quality has severely deteriorated, and the internal temperature has risen, causing the oil to carbonize; faults in the windings or the core have generated arcs, leading to the decomposition and carbonization of the oil.
